Highlander and Tartan Win National Awards!
Our very own community publications, Tartan newsletter and Highlander magazine, have both been nationally recognized for excellence.
Both publications won top awards in the 25th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition. This is a well-respected national competition focused on marketing and communications materials designed specifically for the education sector. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
Tartan newsletter won a gold award (the highest award) in the newsletter category within all secondary schools. Gold awards were granted to only 218 schools over all categories and sections. The Highlander received a merit award within the large external publication category.
Many within the St. Margaret’s community have contributed to the editorial and photography content and quality of these publications. Thank you all our student, parent, faculty and staff contributors, and editorial board members.
