Student Work Juried Into Prestigious National Ceramics Show

luckychanceThis week, work created by St. Margaret’s student Adam Holden, grade 11, was juried into the prestigious National K12 Ceramic Exhibition. The exhibit will be held in March at the 44th annual conference of the National Council on Education for Ceramic Art. Adam’s artwork, was selected from a group of more than 1,100 submitted works; fewer than 170 were juried into the show. Adam is the first St. Margaret’s student to have work selected for inclusion in this show.

The National K–12 Ceramic Exhibition is an annual competition and exhibition for K-12 ceramic students to showcase their ceramic artwork. The National K-12 ceramic Exhibition Foundation places emphasis on creating awareness, offering incentive and increasing motivation to K-12 students in their study of ceramic arts. The exhibition is held annually in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Conference.
